DO YOU NEED A CUSTOM TATTOO?
If you need a custom glitter tattoo stencil the quickest response is by sending an email to gary@rubyredpaint.com
We can make your stencil whether you want 1 or 10,000 but like most purchases, the more you buy, the lower the cost. One thing for sure is
you can get a stencil delivered on time and most likely through us at a lower price than anywhere else as we have our own design team and
we make them in-house on our own lasers. Our prices tend to be a third less than even those purchased from China.
For a standard 2x2” custom glitter tattoo stencils the costs are as follows...
$30 art setup charge (non-refundable) if you order less than 300. If you order over 300, we wave the setup cost.
$.28 each for 100
$.27 each for 600
$.25 each for 2500 (you can have multiple designs)
If you want 5000 or more ask for pricing on additional price breaks
For custom glitter tattoo stencils you must agree to +/- 10% on the quantity
Glitter tattoo stencils are priced on the standard 2x2” stencil. We can also make these in other sizes and as long as they are still 4 square
inches the price does not change. We can make the stencils larger but the price changes.
Glitter tattoo stencils are printed and cut on .007” white vinyl with the design number printed on them for easy identification and reordering.
By default they come with the top clear transfer layer. If your design is simple, we suggest you forgo the top transfer layer as it speeds up
your process. This is done by request and in advance. Each time you order make sure you declare with or without top transfer layer as by
default it comes with the top transfer layer.
IOn the design, ask for the “Suggested Guidelines for Glitter Tattoo Stencils” which can be emailed to you. We want you to have a good
working stencil and the guidelines will help. Some folks like to make extremely complicated stencils and if they get too busy, they will be
hard to use. We like the saying “you can’t fit an elephant in a breadbox” and that applies to stencils. We would rather turn down the order
than give you a stencil that is going to be too hard to use. For a glitter tattoo stencil the design area is about 1.6” square and it is practically
impossible to get a complex design down to that small of an area. Small holes, lines ro connecting parts smaller than .1” tend to be
problematic. If there are thin lines, dots or spiral designs in the design IT WILL MAKE YOUR STENCIL HARDER TO USE. If you choose to
ignore the suggested designs, it is your decision but you get what you ask for in the stencil. Once you approve the design, we make the
stencils and you own them. We can’t stress enough that the best glitter tattoo stencils are simple designs.
In order to keep our manufacturing costs down and in turn your costs down, we try to make all designs a “one pick design”. As an example if
your design had three butterflies on it they would have extremely narrow connector lines to connect the three butterflies. This way when we
hand pick out the tattoo area it would be one pick instead of three. Any experienced glitter tattoo artist understands this and it also means
that you do not have to pick little annoying parts left on the skin. If you don’t like the connector lines, then you need to discuss this up front
and there could be extra charges as it is more labor. When in doubt, discuss this with the designer to see if this will affect your cost. Usually
there is a cost of $.01 for each extra pick to pay for the extra labor.
If your stencil is a trademark, sports logo, copyrighted or company logo then you must either own the rights or you have secured the rights
to use the image. We have made stencils for the NFL to Disney but you must sign off a legal waver. If you are doing something along this
line then ask for the legal form. Most of the time you can secure limited permission for this. A good example is if you are going to be doing
an event at a college football bowl game it is fairly easy to secure limited use permission for the logo. We just want to make sure we and you
are not going to get into legal trouble.
The art setup charges are non-refundable as we have already used our time to create the design.
So the process is you need to email us the image you wish to be converted into a stencil. Send it to gary@rubyredpaint.com . Tell us how
many stencils you want. We then will give you firm pricing. If you agree we charge your credit card for the order. We then will create the
stencil and send you a digital proof. Once you approve the proof, we make and ship your stencil. Goods are FOB our warehouse so you pay
shipping to you. When we send you a proof, that is the time to make any design requests. We will allow you two rounds of changes with no
additional cost. After that we charge more on the setup. You can request a sample to be mailed to you but that will delay your order.
On timing, we usually can turn around your stencil in 24 hours or one business day IF YOU PROMPTLY APPROVE THE DIGITAL PROOF
AND YOU HAVE PAID. Any delay on your part will delay your order.
Once we have done your design, you can reorder duplicates without again having to pay for the setup as long as it has not been more than
three years. After that we probably have erased the art file. If it is a private label stencil, you can be assured that the stencil will not be sold to
anyone else.
