How to Apply a Glitter Tattoo

Follow the 5 easy steps below to go
                                           from this

                                                           To this
                                         In a matter of just

                                            a Few Seconds!

Clean the Skin & Remove the Top Two Layers. Before you
begin, make sure the skin is clean. Lotions, sun screens, or even oily skin can prevent the
tattoo from lasting to its fullest extent. Clean the skin with rubbing alcohol & a cotton swab
first. Allow alcohol to dry. After removing the top 2 layers, throw away the bottom wax paper
layer. Place these top two layers on the skin & apply light pressure to ensure a good stick.

Apply to Skin & Remove the Top Clear Coat of the stencil.
Press the tattoo to the skin for just a moment, to ensure a good stick. Because arms
& legs are not flat, you have to make sure you have good contact between the
material and the skin. If there is a bubble or a ripple, glue might creep underneath
the tattoo & warp your finished glitter tattoo.

Apply Glue This is easy with the nail polish applicator brush in the ¼ oz Sparkettoo
Body Glue. Ideally you want to have a thin coat of glue that covers the entire design. After
you have applied the glue, if you find that the glue is thicker in one area simply spread it
across the remainder of the design. Sparklettoo glue is designed to dry very quickly & so
minor thickness variations can be fixed easily.

Remove the Vinyl Stencil & Apply Glitter Glitter can be
applied before or after the stencil is removed. We recommend removing the stencil first,
because if there is a sharp edge in the design, the glue will want to dry across that narrow
divide, which may cause that area to come away with the stencil when you do remove it.
Apply glitter to the glued area remaining. Pat the tattoo once to ensure good contact

Dust off the Excess Glitter Because glitter has a tendency to get
everywhere, it is convenient to apply glitter tattoos over a ‘catch’ of some kind, like a trash
can, box, or piece of paper. Have the recipient invert their tattoo over the ‘catch’ you are
using, then lightly brush over the tattoo with the extra soft Sparklettoo dusting brush. Note:
Sparklettoo tattoos are designed to work best with Sparklettoo glue & glitter.
